Subject Matter Expert (SME), Data Usage Management

Data Governance Services is a high performing team set up to manage all organization-wide data governance activities and will have responsibility for developing and implementing a strategy to improve the quality and protection of sensitive data and information assets. The position will focus on establishing and ensuring adherence to an enterprise data governance framework for data policies and practices, both at the department and Business and Functional areas to achieve the required level of consistency, quality and protection

The SME Data Usage Management will:

Develop and maintain Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) framework
Facilitate DPIA assessments and support projects / initiatives on DPIAs
Define and Maintain GDPR policies in data discovery tool (DDT)
Support data governance working groups and projects with DLM framework and tools
Orchestrate scanning of data stores for protection purposes Data Usage
Develop and maintain a data lifecycle management (DLM) framework
Describe and implement processes for data lifecycle management
Establish tools and solution for DLM
Support data governance working groups with DLM framework and tools
Monitor DLM and policies and requirements across business units
Conduct training of working groups and stakeholders on DLM

REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of experience in a major services organization, with large-scale data management
Experience in Data Protection and GDPR related work
Experience in Data Lifecycle Management related work
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, MIS, or Information Management preferred
Excellent personal communication skills capable of dealing with wide range of stakeholders – written and oral
Knowledge and experience of Data Protection and GDPR technology solutions would be advantageous, particularly Informatica Sercure@Source
IAPP and/or DAMAI CDMP certification is advantageous
Knowledge and experience of Data Lifecycle Management technology solutions would be advantageous
Proven ability to drive progress and implement solutions
Demonstrated consulting skills, with change management concepts and communication strategies
Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness
Fluent in Norwegian and/or English
