We are now switching gears and our vision is to be known in the engineering community as a technology company with a banking license. To do this we need to strengthen our engineering community even further by hiring experienced and passionate engineers to help drive the change.

Who we are:
The tech department in DNB is working in a highly versatile environment where we solve problems within most big technology areas such as highly scalable systems, big data, cloud, mobile apps, security and more.

We are on a transformational journey where we are moving away from project based initiatives to more stable and agile and autonomous product teams. We strive to establish a great engineering culture of freedom and responsibility with well-defined career opportunities for engineers to grow. Whenever possible we run with the DevOps model –“ You build it, you run it”.

We have many DevOps product teams who are building new solutions on cloud, our job is to provide a standardised cloud platform with the tools required to build and run these new products efficiently and securely.

What we need:
We are looking for pragmatic DevOps Engineers who have the following:

An established system administrator or developer background
Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
Have an understanding of networking and security and how it applies on cloud
Knowledge of how to code in at least one programming language such as Python, Go and Bash
Knowledge of tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform
Experience in integrating with REST APIs
Familiar with open source software such as Redis, Elasticsearch, Nginx
You are a team player who can take responsibility for their own work while being motivated to help others
You like to geek out on the tools and tech, but can curb up their enthusiasm to fit enterprise culture
Good communications skills in English both written and spoken

What you will do:>
Automate everything
Work closely with DevOps teams to help
and support them
Stay up to date with technology and always look for a more efficient solution
Plan and develop core cloud infrastructure
Manage and monitor core cloud infrastructure
Build a self service platform for DevOps teams
